The movie tells a story of arms dealer Yuri Orlov, his rise and fall.

It is an amazing movie. The fact that is based on true stories, made me shiver.

The story-telling is perfect. Acting performance and realization are top notch.

Interesting fact: the guns they used were real, because they were much cheaper than using the fakes. I knew about it before watching the movie, and the scene in which hundreds of weapons are pilled on in the room made a huge impression on me.

Kudos to Andrew Niccol for making such an impressive movie.

The movie based on true story.

The movie tells a story of explorer Thor Heyerdal, and his journey to prove that it was possible for South Americans to settle in Polynesia in pre-Columbian times.

I was very skeptical about this movie. And to be honest it was a challenge to watch it to the end. The story itself is interesting, but I couldn’t feel the atmosphere of the adventure (and it is listed as an adventure movie). Overall I am glad that I saw it because I learnt something new (and as far as I read the film is credible in history).
